News from the DCA NationalLittermates Summerhill Stairway to Heaven (Jimmy) and Summerhill Music of the Night (Crissy) went Winners Dog and Winners Bitch at the Host Specialty.  Each earning a 5 pt. Major.Thank You Judge Fowler for this wonderful honor..CH Summerhill Stairway to Heaven SSJimmy won back to back to back majors and finished his AKC Championship quickly.  Jimmy is owned by Walt and Carol Collins and was shown beautifully by Tara Kreiger-Hartman. SummerHill is located in beautiful Western Pennsylvania.  My husband (Mike) and myself (Cathy) enjoy the companionship of our dogs and participate in AKC Conformation. 


  Please see ABOUT US to learn how we started in this fun hobby.   We also enjoy the fun of EarthDog and on occasion, Field Trials.   Our dogs are primarily raw fed and minimally vaccinated.  Vacs free puppies can be arranged.

Our dogs are health tested prior to breeding.   All puppies  produced at SummerHIll have a home here for life.   Companion dogs are placed with AKC Limited Registration.   Please see our EXTENDED FAMILY page for pictures of our  placed puppies.

All our dogs live in our home and occasionally let us on the furniture.  A good portion of our 4+ acres is fenced and designed for the amusement and enrichment of our dogs' natural instincts.

We are extremely honored to be the owners of 2 Laddland Dachshunds and to have done our small part to continue the Laddland Legacy.

As a small show home we take our roles as exhibitors and breeders seriously. Our dogs are our most precious possessions.  As owners and lovers  of pure bred dogs we acknowledge the AR movement's desire to destroy the bond between human and dog.  It is our hope that every dog lover  educates themselves against this assault.
